I agree but would like to add a couple of points.

People in AMerica with the help of both parties and the MSM focus entirely too much on a term limited President. Name a screw up by a President that we were not able to resolve in a few years, not counting FDR?

The power to write law and take and spend our money lies in Congress, this is where the trouble begins and ends for our country. Congress no longer represents us, they resent us. Career politicians only focus on one thing, themselves.

Until we resolve the issue of a life time appointment to Congress the country will continue to decline. We must have citizen legislatures to survive.

For those who say go vote, I do and for the last eight years I have voted against any person with two terms or more in Congress, regardless of party. Congress will not term limit themselves, the republicans tried and the dems squashed it. Congress has violated the Constitution by not convening a Constitution Convention as required, the states have requested it, and congress has failed to respond. We no longer have a congress working for us, we have a ruling elite telling us what to do and how to live our lives, and this is TYRANNICAL.

Remove all from office that have been there 12 years or more, and life as we know gets better overnight, you concerns and fears will be at least addressed if not redressed.

The only way this will work is if YOU, go and vote for the new guy.

I cannot with all honesty say all of them are crap! I think about certain Presidents such as Eisenhower and there I see a real stand up guy! Like most of the idiots in Hollywood, EGO plays a large part as to why politicians/actors are drawn to their chosen fields. For the most part, you are right! PS your avatar is huggable!

dont get too discouraged.
its true that we do not really have a choice between honest and dishonest candidates, but we do make choices that make differences.
each candidate may be equally corrupt and equally pure (kinda like you and me i suppose), but if they are clearly conservative or liberal, then they represent two very different philosophies and will tend to move the whole system in that direction, to the degree that they are effective. this will happen despite their personal integrity.
you vote can actually have a disproportionate impact in the case of a close vote, like the last several.
you didnt inquire about the stark differences between the party philosophies so i will assume you are aware of them.
